In the past there were a few ways to view private Facebook albums, the only catch was you couldn't really access the entire Facebook album all in one go: You'll have to load each image one at a time.
Nowadays, Facebook has managed to close down those loopholes - do the only way to gain access to private images is to be given permission by the user. There is still a sneaky hack for that, so read on!
How you USED TO be able to view private Facebook albums and images
You could find and copy the url (address) for each image you want to see. You can do this by trying to access their Facebook albums. It won't show anything, but you will still have a url in the address bar of your browser.
Then copy that url into a the browser, play around with the sequence of numbers at the tail end of the url - and enjoy access to private albums and photos on Facebook!

Now that the security flaws have been patched up by Facebook, the only way to access private Facebook albums is to send a friend request.
If you don't want the user to know what you are up to though, you can always follow these simple steps:
- Find a friend of the user who is not that active on Facebook but has some photos on their profile (it's important that they are not very active, as this will mean they never show up in the target's feed).
- Recreate their profile using a fake email address to sign up etc
- Friend request the target
I have done this at least 4 times now. It has worked 100% of the time. It is a little time consuming, but it also means you are able to do more than just view the private Facebook albums or photos. If you are really cheeky, you can even comment or post on the target's Facebook wall. Totally evil!
